Edie Waddell founded Landmark Custom Homes after a 34 year career at McDonald's Corporation where she rose from counter server, ultimately becoming a Corporate Vice President in U.S. Operations.

During her tenure at McDonald's, Edie was able to take underperforming regions and build leadership teams that transformed those regions into top performers. She worked throughout the northeast United States and at corporate headquarters in Chicago, much of the time holding leadership and officer positions that included systems management, restaurant construction, marketing, finance and operations development.

Edie joined Landmark's parent company Waddell, Williams & Associates in May of 2006 bringing her global McDonald's experience and knowledge of planning, engineering and commercial real estate development with her.

The seeds for Landmark Custom Homes were sewn when she and husband Eric, a former UPS executive and CEO of the private equity firm Waddell, Williams & Associates (WWA), began researching Florida as a location for a family vacation home. Eric and Edie were both so inspired by the opportunity in the southeast United States that Eric moved WWA's headquarters to Florida and Edie followed shortly after.

Landmark Custom Homes is the result of that inspiration and Edie’s passion for real estate development. Edie and Eric Waddell live in Celebration, FL.
